The Enshrouded patch notes for Patch #1 (version 1.0.1.0) cover the first regular patch since the full release, and Keen Games published them on November 2, 2026. The changelog has 115 entries. Most are bug fixes for enemies, base building and menus, plus a few balance changes that wand users will notice right away.
For everything that came with the full release itself, check our Enshrouded 1.0 patch notes. This page sticks to Patch #1: what changed, what it means in practice and which of our guides it touches.
โก The short version
- New wand costs: The Aerial Wand Attack now costs 40 mana instead of stamina, and the Wand Evasion Attack costs less mana.
- Bosses stay in the fight: They stay engaged longer after being attacked, even when you're far away.
- No more stray basalt: Several terrain and block materials no longer drop basalt.
- Sprint toggle: Sprint can now be set to toggle in the keyboard and mouse settings.
- Save migration fixes: On PC, Keen fixed several cases where migrating an old save ran into an error.
๐ Our count: 115 changes by area
The official patch notes only use three blocks: general (102 entries), PC (7) and PlayStation 5 (6). We sorted each of the 102 general entries into an area ourselves. That grouping is our own breakdown, and the percentages refer to all 115 entries.
| Area | Entries | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Enemies and bosses | 20 | 17.4% |
| Base building, flying build mode, Sparkworks | 17 | 14.8% |
| Menus and controls | 16 | 13.9% |
| Survivors and audio | 10 | 8.7% |
| Weapons and skills | 9 | 7.8% |
| World and terrain | 9 | 7.8% |
| Loot and gathering | 7 | 6.1% |
| PC | 7 | 6.1% |
| Stability and tech | 6 | 5.2% |
| PlayStation 5 | 6 | 5.2% |
| Recipes and crafting | 4 | 3.5% |
| Character and visuals | 4 | 3.5% |
The takeaway: almost a third of this Enshrouded patch deals with enemies and base building. Real balance changes with numbers attached are rare. Most entries fix behavior, visuals or collision. There's no separate section for dedicated servers.
๐น Enemies and bosses
Bosses now stay engaged in combat longer after being attacked, even when players are far away. Keen names the Fell Monstrosity as the example: in ranged fights, bosses could suddenly start recovering health while you were still shooting at them. That should be over now. Boss music also no longer cuts out while the fight is still going.
- Wispwyvern: It and its undead counterpart can be targeted correctly by totem spells and other summons again. The visuals of their artillery attacks got several fixes too.
- Dragon Youngling: Fixed a state where it was defeated but didn't trigger the correct dead state.
- Ancient S.P.D.R. Constructs: They're harder to lure into a spot where they forget how to move or attack. The shielded Ancient Construct now has phases where its shield is on cooldown.
- Fell Vinebloom: Its area attack deals less poison damage.
- Scavengers: Their proximity mines have a smaller explosion radius.
On top of that come smaller fixes. A Vukah Brawler no longer spawns inside the cave wall, enemies next to Cyclopses are easier to target and vultures fight better. Several enemies had a level that didn't fit their region, which is fixed as well. Elite flying critters now give more XP when defeated.
Two entries hit the dungeons. The Kindlewaste Hollow Hall has fewer flying critters bunched up in one location, and in the Albaneve Summits Hollow Halls one Hollow enemy spawn point was moved. Every hall with its level and key is in our Enshrouded Hollow Halls guide.
๐ช Weapons and skills
If you play with a wand, this is the part of Patch #1 that matters most. The skill names below are taken straight from the changelog.
| Skill or item | Change in patch 1.0.1.0 |
|---|---|
| Aerial Wand Attack | now costs 40 mana instead of stamina |
| Wand Evasion Attack | lower mana cost, new value not given |
| Whirlwind Crescendo | lower stamina cost, new value not given |
| Wand attacks in general | animation-cancelling each shot by blocking no longer boosts attack frequency |
| Lupa's scalper daggers | bug fixed, they now enable the riposte kick ability when wielded |
What it means: the jump attack now drains the same pool as your evasion attack and spells. If your wand style involves a lot of jumping, you'll want more mana regen, but you free up stamina for dodging. The block trick for faster shots is gone.
The Chain Heal spell also no longer heals enemy Hollow skeletons. Skills and attacks that stopped working after several hours of play work again, and the perk descriptions for mana, health and stamina leech were updated. For a full wand setup, see our Enshrouded mage build.
๐ Loot, recipes and crafting
- Easier start: There's more food on the path before and in the first cave, and purple berries are easier to spot.
- Loot: You no longer have to interact with defeated enemies twice to loot them. Fewer Fell enemies drop no loot, and another fix is planned for the next update. With auto-loot on, rocks get picked up instead of chasing you.
- Basalt: Several terrain and block materials no longer drop it. Where to actually mine it is covered in our Enshrouded basalt guide.
- Goo: The recipe now also unlocks when you pick up the Shroud mushroom resource in the Revelwoods.
- More recipes: Crab cakes accept any type of milk, and the big farm animal beds can be crafted with any wood type. Azure Russula seedlings are a bit cheaper to produce.
- Weapons: Two more lore weapons are now craftable. The changelog doesn't say which ones.
- Factories now use the selected material when a recipe offers several options.
Growing seedlings and crops is explained in our Enshrouded farming guide.
๐ Base building, flying build mode and Sparkworks
In flying build mode (the Airborne Architect skill) you can now destroy props with the pickaxe. Sounds play from the camera position instead of your character, and taking damage cancels flying right away. That saves you from a few falls, but it can get annoying when you build close to enemies.
- You can remove overgrowth from buildings in your base again.
- Water wheels rotate once they touch moving water.
- Fish no longer secretly occupy beds that other animals need to reproduce.
- The factories page in the player base overview sorts correctly and can now sort by remaining production time or by product.
- Finetune Mode no longer stays active when you switch to items that can't be fine-tuned.
- Sparkworks enemy spawners spawn the right enemies. Props in a Sparkworks setup can no longer be destroyed by attacks but can still be dismantled. The Sparkworks workbench now shows up in the workshops overview menu.
There are also fixes for texture issues on secret doors and placeable Ancient props, wrong materials on some building shapes and flickering shadows in very large player bases. The basics are in our Enshrouded base building guide.
๐ฎ Menus, controls, survivors and audio
Besides the sprint toggle, there's now a keybinding to mute or unmute your microphone when voice chat is set to open mic. The map marker filter has a darker background, and destructible objects show a grey health bar. Torches no longer show up as upgradable, and world names can be as long as they were in Early Access again.
Survivors in your base greet you and say goodbye again, and their voice-over lines are easier to understand. Chinese or German is now picked as the voice-over language for the intro and outro when it matches your system language. Keen says the work on surround sound mixing continues and more fixes come in the next patch.
๐ฅ๏ธ Stability, PC and PS5
Across all platforms, the patch fixes a crash related to outdated tombstone position data, a few random crashes and a potential crash when closing the game. Hosting a world with very large player bases in multiplayer should be more stable. For groups on their own worlds, that's the key line. Setup help is in our Enshrouded dedicated server and co-op guide.
- PC: Several save data migration errors are fixed, and the memory budget for migrating lots of player bases is bigger. AMD graphics cards get new graphics settings, and a random GPU crash is gone. [ESC] works again after using the AMD overlay, and evade bound to [RMB]+[SPACE] no longer triggers a jump.
- PS5: Starting a session through an invite works, and touchpad controls on the world map, skill tree and logic graph editor are more reliable. The controller speaker is quieter by default, unnecessary rumble in combat is gone and GTAO on the base PS5 looks better.

If one of these guides still lists an older value, patch 1.0.1.0 wins. The mapping is our own.
๐ง Follow-up: Hotfix #4 (1.0.1.1) and Hotfix #5 (1.0.1.2)
After Patch #1, Keen Games released two small hotfixes. Neither changes any values, recipes or mechanics.
- Hotfix #4, version 1.0.1.1 (November 3, 2026): voice-over had been too quiet since 1.0.1, looting and mining sounds were audible to all players, wrong textures on voxel walls, a crash in the water simulation, log spam, Discord links for Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese, and a PS5 crash when searching for servers.
- Hotfix #5, version 1.0.1.2 (November 4, 2026): pinned recipes now stay pinned. It also fixes a rare water-related crash, crashes caused by deprecated items and deprecated blueprints, and a rare endless black screen when logging in.
โ FAQ: Enshrouded patch notes 1.0.1
When did patch 1.0.1.0 come out?
Keen Games posted the patch notes for Patch #1 on enshrouded.com on November 2, 2026.
Do I need to start a new save?
No, the changelog doesn't ask for a fresh start. If migrating an old save failed for you, try again after the patch, since Keen fixed several of those error cases.
Is the wand getting nerfed?
Not really. The Wand Evasion Attack gets cheaper, and the Aerial Wand Attack costs 40 mana instead of stamina. The only thing that's gone is the trick of cancelling attacks by blocking to shoot faster.
Are there changes for dedicated servers?
The patch notes have no server section. They only mention better stability when hosting worlds with very large player bases.
Is the next patch coming soon?
Two hotfixes have already followed Patch #1 (1.0.1.1 on November 3 and 1.0.1.2 on November 4), both bug fixes only. The fixes announced in Patch #1 for Fell enemies without loot and for surround sound aren't in either of them. The studio hasn't given a date for the next patch.
