Enshrouded Silver Ore is mined in the Shroud of the Albaneve Summits, which you can enter at Flame Level 7. It only turns into Silver Bars in the Blast Furnace, and Flame Level 8 asks for 40 of them in one go.
This guide shows where to find silver, which enemy drops it, how to smelt it, all 61 recipes with Silver Bars and our own math in full Blast Furnace runs. Recipes and item names come from the game data database enshrouded.th.gl (version 1.0). The totals are our own calculations.
๐ฅ Where to find Enshrouded Silver Ore
The game data database enshrouded.th.gl lists exactly one mining source for Enshrouded Silver Ore: the Albaneve Summits Shroud. It shows no recipe that produces the ore and no vendor. The material is item level 33. The English community wiki at enshrouded.wiki.gg puts the Albaneve Summits at biome level 30 to 40.
Just like tin, you won't find the veins out in the open snow but in the fog, while your timer runs. According to the database, Flame Level 7 unlocks the region, raises your Shroud Passage Level to 7 and gives you 11 minutes in the Shroud. How to stretch that time is in our Shroud timer guide.
๐ Known spots
No developer source or game data database names specific veins of Enshrouded Silver Ore. The community wiki lists Silver Ore among the region's minable resources but leaves its "Obtaining" section empty. Among the region's mines it names an "Obsidian Mine" and a mine at Rothstep, without linking either to silver.
The English guide on Sportskeeda names the "Forge of Obsidia" northeast of the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire as a farming spot. The page has no date and still lists Flame Level 6 as the requirement, so it dates from Early Access. We only treat it as an unconfirmed community tip. Since 1.0, the Keen Games changelog says the details menu of more resources now shows a hint on where to get them. Check there before you search the fog blind.
โ๏ธ Silver Ore as loot
The database knows a second source: an enemy called Scavenger drops 1 to 4 Silver Ore in the Albaneve Summits with a 28 percent chance. The same chance applies to Coal there. That's not enough for a fixed farming route, but it's a nice bonus while exploring.
โ๏ธ Tools for mining Enshrouded Silver Ore
You mine Enshrouded Silver Ore from its veins with a pickaxe. Neither the game data database nor the community wiki names a minimum pickaxe. ๐ฅ Silver Bars: Blast Furnace only
Unlike copper and tin, Enshrouded Silver Ore has no Smelter recipe. The database only lists the Blast Furnace:

Charcoal from the Charcoal Kiln won't help here, because the recipe asks for Coal. According to the database, you also mine Coal in the Albaneve Summits. The Blacksmith crafts the Blast Furnace from 20 Fired Bricks, 10 Lump of Clay, 10 Iron Bars, 1 Bellows and 30 Sand. The community wiki lists a crafting time of 10 minutes per run, a value from before 1.0.
Silver Bars are item level 33 as well. Their description says the citizens of Embervale would sometimes invest in silver, hoping it would hold its value in a crisis. At the Grinding Stones, one bar also becomes Silver Dust, which another 22 recipes ask for.
๐ฅ Flame Level 8: 40 Silver Bars
The biggest single cost is the Flame Altar. According to the database, Flame Level 8 costs 40 each of Spark, Obsidian, Silver Bars, Mauveine, Wolfsbane and Amethyst, plus a Fell Dragon Youngling Head. It unlocks Veilwater Basin, raises your Shroud Passage Level to 8 and your time in the Shroud to 12 minutes. No Flame Level asks for Silver Ore directly, only for the bars. The armor pieces are level 30. Helmets need no silver, and most gloves only Silver Dust. Since 1.0, the changelog says every Flame upgrade automatically unlocks the armor sets of the next crafting tier. Which set fits your class is in our Enshrouded builds guide.

The amount barely rises with the weapon level. Higher levels swap steel for gold or celestium bars instead, and on Darya's Staff the silver even drops from 3 to 1.

- Carpenter (29 bars in 15 recipes): Large Silver Brazier (5), Small Silver Brazier, Silver Chest and Boreal Wood Door (3 each), Granite Stone Bathtub, Granite Stone Shower, Granite Throne and Hanging Silver Chandelier (2 each), plus seven more pieces of furniture at 1 each.
- Decoration Workbench: Small and Large Salon Mirror, Silver Jug, Silver Bowl, Silver Platter and Silver Cup at 1 each.
- Bard: Instrument Stand (3), Instrument Holder and Keen Games Banner (1 each).
- Workbench: 1 each for 100 Obsidian Blocks and 50 Granite Ornamented Roof Blocks.
- Other: the Albaneve Summits Bone Key for the Hollow Halls (1, plus 20 Ectoplasm Gems) and Silver Dust at the Grinding Stones (1).
๐ Our math: how much Enshrouded Silver Ore you need
We added up all 61 recipes once each. Together they use 166 Silver Bars: 43 for armor and shields, 40 for furniture, 40 for Flame Level 8, 39 for weapons and 4 for the rest. Silver Dust for the 22 follow-up recipes is only counted once.
Since the Blast Furnace always makes 20 bars at once, we calculated in full runs. The mid-size shopping list covers Flame Level 8, the Mountain's Shadow set from the Blacksmith without a helmet (6 bars), one Hailscourge and one Silver Chest.

By volume you need twice as much Coal as ore, since every run eats 40. Our tip for your first trip into the Shroud: 60 Enshrouded Silver Ore and 120 Coal. That covers the altar, one armor set and a weapon. According to the community wiki, a stack holds 250 ore.
Compare that with Enshrouded Silver Ore from loot. At a 28 percent chance for 1 to 4 pieces, a Scavenger drops 0.7 ore on average, assuming every amount is equally likely. For the 40 ore of Flame Level 8, that's around 57 fights. Mining is clearly faster.
๐ก Tips for farming Enshrouded Silver Ore
- Plan double Coal: Bring two Coal per piece of Enshrouded Silver Ore, or the Blast Furnace sits idle.
- Watch the timer: At Flame Level 7 you have 11 minutes in the Shroud. Go in with free inventory space and leave with time to spare.
- Altar first: Smelt your first 40 bars for Flame Level 8 before you build furniture.
- Prepare for the boss: You also need the Fell Dragon Youngling Head for Flame Level 8.
