Enshrouded Banshee Gel: Drops, Sources and All 9 Recipes
Enshrouded Banshee Gel, listed in game as Aerated Banshee Gel, only drops from two floating Fell enemies that patrol the Shroud in almost every region. You need it for nine recipes at item level 5 and 6, mostly hoods, hats and gloves from the early armor sets.
Below you'll find which enemies drop the material, how much you get per kill, every recipe that uses it and how many fights you should plan for all of them combined. Two sources give different drop amounts, so both are in the table.
๐ป What Aerated Banshee Gel is
In the English game data the material is called Aerated Banshee Gel. Its description reads: "A lightweight, protective gel. Has properties of Fell magic." It's mainly an armor ingredient. Rarity is Uncommon, item level 5.
The game data database enshrouded.th.gl doesn't list a stack size. The community wiki on enshrouded.wiki.gg says 250 per stack, but that page was last edited in March 2026, still during Early Access. You can't craft Enshrouded Banshee Gel at all. Neither source knows a recipe for it.
๐ Where Enshrouded Banshee Gel comes from: Fell Banshee and Fell Shackled Banshee
According to enshrouded.th.gl, exactly two enemies drop it: the Fell Banshee and the Fell Shackled Banshee. The database lists no other source, so no chests, vendors or gathering nodes.

The two sources disagree on the minimum. The game data database sits closer to the game files, but we run the numbers with both values below. What the loot actually shows you in game is what counts. For the Shackled variant we only have the database value.
๐บ๏ธ Where the Banshees float
The community wiki lists the Fell Banshee in every region of Embervale: Springlands, Low Meadows, Revelwood, Kindlewastes, Blackmire, Nomad Highlands, Albaneve Summits, Veilwater Basin and Cinder's Cradle. Typical spots are Elixir Wells, ruined villages and Shroud Lairs. Your first Enshrouded Banshee Gel will most likely come from the Shroud in the Springlands, according to the wiki's material page.

โ๏ธ How to fight them
The following comes from the community wiki, not from the game data. The Banshee glides through the air and fires two fast magic bolts that deal Shroud damage and can home in on you. Some variants briefly turn invisible and teleport.
- Ranged or magic: She often floats out of melee reach.
- Dodge forward: According to the wiki, the bolts then land behind you.
- Skip Ice and Shock: The wiki lists her as resistant to Ice and Shock and immune to Shroud damage. Fire, Poison, Cutting, Piercing and Blunt damage are neutral.
A fitting ranged setup is in our Enshrouded mage build. If you fight with a wand, note that since Patch #1 the Aerial Wand Attack costs 40 mana instead of stamina. The rest is in our Enshrouded patch notes 1.0.1. Going by the wiki resistances, fire spells and fire arrows lose none of their damage.

Two caveats. For the Scout Hood, enshrouded.th.gl lists the ingredients without amounts, so the numbers come from the community wiki. For the Reaper's Wand the database says 2 Bonemeal, but the crafting chain on the same page leaves the Bonemeal out of the last step. Check the recipe at your Alchemist.
๐งฅ What stands out about the Enshrouded Banshee Gel recipes
Six of the nine recipes are armor pieces, and every one of them is a head or hand slot. Only the two Alchemist Apprentice pieces take 2 Enshrouded Banshee Gel each, everything else takes one. According to the database, the Alchemist Apprentice Hat unlocks through the quest Powerful Alchemy. The Reaper's Wand is the only level 6 recipe and is Rare instead of Uncommon.
You need to rescue the Alchemist, Blacksmith and Hunter before you can use their recipes. Where they are is covered in our Enshrouded craftspeople guide. The database lists Heal Cascade I as ammunition, and one craft gives you 20.
๐ง Intermediate materials
Almost every recipe needs an intermediate material. Bonemeal comes from Bones at the Grinding Stones, where 2 Bones make 3 Bonemeal. String is spun from fiber at the Spinning Wheel, and Dried Fur is made at the Drying Rack from Animal Fur and Salt. Metal Sheets are forged from Metal Scraps and Charcoal, and the Hunter crafts Animal Fur from fishing junk.

Crafting all nine recipes once takes 11 Enshrouded Banshee Gel. How many fights that means depends on the drop amount. We ran the numbers with both source values: the middle of the range for a normal run, the minimum for a bad-luck run, always rounded up.

With the game data values, four to six fights cover everything the material is used for. Even with the more cautious wiki value, it's eleven at most. If you only build one set, one to four fights are enough. For 100 Heal Cascade I you also need 25 Bonemeal and 10 Aureolin Flowers on top of the 5 gel.
The math assumes every defeated Banshee drops Enshrouded Banshee Gel. In the Patch #1 changelog, Keen Games says fewer Fell enemies now drop no loot, and another fix is planned for the next update. If a fight leaves you empty-handed, it doesn't count.
๐ก Farming tips for Enshrouded Banshee Gel
- Collect on the side: Floating Fell Banshees show up in almost every Shroud area. Eleven Enshrouded Banshee Gel usually piles up on its own, so dedicated farming is rarely worth it.
- Head for Elixir Wells: According to the community wiki, Banshees hang around there a lot.
- Keep a reserve: The material is still needed at level 6, so set a few aside for the Reaper's Wand.
