Jade Shadows Constellations: A Look Back at Warframe Update 43 (June 17, 2026)

Update 43, Jade Shadows: Constellations, arrived in Warframe on June 17, 2026. The headliner is Sirius and Orion, the 65th Warframe: a pair of twins that puts two playable characters into a single slot. The update also brought Styanax Prime, new Railjack missions in Uranus Proxima, five new Incarnon Genesis weapons and a quest.

This article started out as a preview. It's now a look back at Jade Shadows Constellations based on the official Update 43 patch notes and the community-run wiki at wiki.warframe.com. Anything that was hinted at beforehand but never confirmed has been cut.

Sirius and Orion: two Warframes, one slot

Sirius and Orion are the sons of Jade and the Stalker. According to the community wiki, Sirius takes after Jade and leans toward support, while Orion takes after the Stalker and leans toward damage.

How do they work?

Both share a single Warframe slot, but each has its own mod screen. That means you can give them different mods, Auras and Arcanes. While you control one of them, the other fights alongside you as an invulnerable, AI-controlled ally, similar to a Specter, per the community wiki. You swap between them during missions.

Passive: swapping pays off

Per the patch notes, every swap between Sirius and Orion grants 45 percent Ability Efficiency for the next two casts. When you drop below 50 energy, the community wiki says the twins pull energy from each other. The system rewards constant swapping.

Sirius: abilities

1. Coronal Ejection

Sirius throws an energy scythe forward like a boomerang. It deals Heat damage and brings pickups such as orbs back with it on the return.

2. Jade Stars

Sirius summons a crown of motes that fly at enemies and deal Heat damage. Spent motes regenerate over time.

3. Light's Sanctuary

Sirius creates a healing dome with Damage Reduction. Allies who go down inside it get revived, with a cooldown in between, per the community wiki. That makes Sirius the support half of the duo.

Orion: abilities

1. Gravitic Slash

Orion performs a powerful slice that, per the community wiki, strips Armor and Shields from the enemies it hits.

2. Astral Shell

Damage Orion takes while Astral Shell is active raises his Threat Level, according to the community wiki, which pulls enemy attention onto him.

3. Event Horizon

Orion summons a mobile black hole that knocks enemies down and pulls them in.

Shared 4th ability: Celestial Clash

The two brothers float into the air and collide their attacks. Every clash deals massive radial damage. Per the community wiki, you activate it through a gauge that fills as you cast your other abilities.

Pride and Wrath: two Heavy Scythes

The update added the Heavy Scythes Pride and Wrath. Pride belongs to Sirius, Wrath to Orion. Per the patch notes, both empower slam attacks. They're not a new weapon class, since Heavy Scythes existed before. According to the community wiki, they don't have a Signature Weapon bonus with the twins.

How do I get Sirius and Orion?

The main blueprint is the reward for completing the quest “Jade Shadows: Constellations,” per the patch notes. The components (Neuroptics, Chassis, Systems) drop in the new Railjack missions The Kuva Wytch and Scoria's Angel in Uranus Proxima. Alternatively, you buy them in Pontis Tower for Emerald or Crimson Talents, or in the Market. The community wiki puts the full set at 545 Talents.

The quest requires the original “Jade Shadows” quest. Per the patch notes, the new quest takes about 30 to 40 minutes, and other content stays locked until you finish it. Abilities and build tips are in our Sirius and Orion guide.

New Protoframes: Ryoku and Vena

Two Protoframes appear in the quest: per the patch notes, Ryoku is Ash's Protoframe and Vena is Garuda's.

You can recruit both as crew for your own Railjack. Per the patch notes, that takes rank 10 in Command Intrinsics.

Railjack in Uranus Proxima

The update added two new Railjack missions in Uranus Proxima, with Pontis Tower as the hub. In a squad, you fly Vena's or Ryoku's Railjack, per the patch notes. Solo, you can take your own Railjack, but you have to board from Pontis Tower. The region itself is covered in our Uranus Proxima guide.

Styanax Prime Access

Styanax Prime Access launched on June 17 alongside the update. Per the patch notes, it included:

  • Styanax Prime (Warframe)
  • Afentis Prime (speargun)
  • Athodai Prime (pistol)
  • Lanex Prime Syandana and Daurus Prime Armor
  • A Styanax Prime Honoria and a Tharros and Axios Prime decoration

As usual, the Prime parts can also be farmed from Void Relics. Our Void Relics guide explains how.

Other additions

New Incarnon Genesis weapons: Stug, Vectis, Ballistica, Destreza and Obex. Per the patch notes, the adapters come from the Steel Path Circuit reward track, and Cavalero installs them. Details are in our Incarnon Genesis guide.

Dante Tytonis Collection: a skin bundle for Dante with a Noctua Lophos skin and a warfan skin. The update also added the Augment Noctua Swarm.

Dante as a Twitch drop

According to warframe.com, Dante was an official Twitch drop for the Summer Game Fest on June 5, 2026, for watching at least 30 minutes with a linked account. The promotion is over. His abilities and farming route are covered in our Dante guide.

What still matters today

  • Jade Shadows first: Without the original quest, you can't start Jade Shadows Constellations and can't get the main blueprint.
  • Talents or Railjack: The components either drop in Uranus Proxima or you trade Talents for them in Pontis Tower.
  • Build your crew: If you want Ryoku or Vena on your own Railjack crew, you need Command Intrinsics at rank 10.
