Warframe Incarnon Genesis Guide 2026: Farm, Install and Pick the Right Adapters

Warframe Incarnon Genesis Guide 2026: Farm, Install and Pick the Right Adapters

Warframe Incarnon Genesis adapters are one of the strongest upgrades your arsenal can get. They turn old, long-retired weapons into real endgame monsters with their own Incarnon form and powerful evolutions. Update 43 "Jade Shadows: Constellations" (June 17, 2026) gave five more weapons an Incarnon Genesis, which makes this a good moment to understand the system properly. This guide shows you how to farm Incarnon Genesis adapters, how to install them and which ones are worth it.

โš™๏ธ What Is an Incarnon Genesis?

An Incarnon Genesis adapter is applied permanently to a weapon and changes it at its core. You get an alternate Incarnon form (a second fire mode with completely different behavior: more AoE, different projectiles, higher fire rate) plus a set of evolutions, perks you unlock through short challenges. Genesis weapons have four evolutions each, and installing the adapter already counts as the first one.

Important: you only have to complete the challenges once per weapon family. Unlock them on the Braton, for example, and the perks apply automatically to the MK1-Braton, Braton Prime and Braton Vandal too.

To be clear about the difference: besides the Genesis adapters, there are also standalone Incarnon weapons like the Phenmor, Laetum, Praedos and Felarx. Those come from quests or from Cavalero for Holdfasts standing and have their own ways to get them. This guide is about the Genesis system that upgrades weapons you already own.

๐Ÿ”“ Prerequisites: What You Need First

Before you can even get a Genesis adapter, your account needs three things done:

  • The Duviri Paradox completed. It unlocks The Circuit.
  • Angels of the Zariman completed. Only then is Cavalero available in the Chrysalith, and he's the one who installs the adapters.
  • The Steel Path unlocked through the Star Chart. The adapters only drop from The Circuit on the Steel Path.

If you haven't unlocked the Steel Path yet, read our Warframe Steel Path beginner's guide first. It covers how to unlock it and how to survive there.

โš”๏ธ Where to Farm Incarnon Genesis Adapters

The source is The Circuit on the Steel Path in Duviri. At the start of every week, five Genesis adapters are on offer, and you pick two of them: one as the reward at tier 5 and the other at tier 10 of the weekly reward track. You play Circuit runs, build up progress and climb the tiers until you have both adapters.

You lock in your two rewards at the start of the week, so choose carefully. According to the community wiki, the selection rotates on a fixed nine-week cycle and changes with the weekly reset. The ninth week came with Update 43 and, per the patch notes, started on June 22, 2026. Check every week which weapons are on offer.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Installing Adapters at Cavalero

The adapter alone isn't enough. You can only install it at Cavalero in the Chrysalith on the Zariman Ten Zero. Installation costs 20 Pathos Clamps among other Duviri resources. Pathos Clamps are the real bottleneck: you only get them by defeating the Orowyrm in The Duviri Experience or The Lone Story. Plan for that, or you'll be stuck with an adapter and no way to pay for the install.

The alternative without the Circuit grind: Cavalero's Incarnon market sells each of the current week's adapters once for 120 Platinum, including the resources you need to install it. Also good to know: Cavalero can remove an upgrade and give you the Genesis adapter back, but the Duviri resources you spent on installing it aren't refunded.

๐Ÿ“ฆ The Five Adapters Added in Update 43

Update 43 (June 17, 2026) expanded the rotation with five weapons. They show up in the weekly Steel Path Circuit offer like every other adapter:

WeaponType
VectisPrimary: sniper rifle
StugSecondary: glob launcher
BallisticaSecondary: crossbow pistol
DestrezaMelee: rapier
ObexMelee: sparring

๐Ÿ’ก Which Adapters Are Worth It First

The golden rule: get one strong weapon per category first (primary, secondary, melee) instead of farming at random. The biggest beginner mistake is grabbing an adapter for a D-tier weapon just because you like the skin. Put your Forma and time into what actually carries you in the endgame.

CategoryProven pickWhy
PrimaryTorid (Genesis)Gas clouds scale with enemy level, rated a top AoE pick in 2026
SecondaryDual Toxocyst (Genesis) or Laetum (standalone)Strong status primer, or raw damage without needing an adapter
MeleePraedos (standalone)Mobility plus solid damage for all content, no adapter needed

Note that Laetum and Praedos are standalone Incarnon weapons, so they don't use up one of your two weekly adapter picks. Per the community wiki, Cavalero sells the Laetum blueprint for 3,000 Holdfasts standing from rank 0 and the Praedos for 9,000 from rank 4 (Seraph).

With brand-new adapters, hold back: wait for community tests before you put Forma into one. Tier lists usually settle after a week or two.

๐ŸŒ€ Unlocking the Incarnon Form and Evolutions

After installing, the weapon isn't maxed out yet. You activate the Incarnon form in combat by filling a counter. On many weapons that works through weak point hits; on the Bronco, for example, the community wiki lists 40 weak point hits. Since Update 44, Banshee's Sonar spots count as weak points too. Once the counter is full, you switch into the boosted mode with Alternate Fire.

At the same time, you unlock the four evolutions. Installing the adapter counts as Evolution I. The others ask for small weapon-specific challenges. An Incarnon weapon only feels complete with all evolutions, because the later perks often deliver the decisive damage or status effect.

๐Ÿšซ Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Picking adapters by looks instead of performance: an adapter on a weak weapon is still a weak weapon. Farm by tier, not by skin.
  • Forgetting Pathos Clamps: without the 20 Clamps from the Orowyrm you can't install. Build up a stock in advance instead of getting stuck with a finished adapter.
  • Wanting everything at once: there are only two adapters per week. Plan over several weeks instead of spreading yourself thin.
  • Leaving evolutions unfinished: an Incarnon weapon without its challenges done only uses a fraction of its potential.

๐Ÿ”— Quick Summary

  • Prerequisites: The Duviri Paradox, Angels of the Zariman and the Steel Path.
  • Farming: 2 adapters per week from The Circuit on the Steel Path (tier 5 and 10). The offer changes weekly on a nine-week cycle.
  • Installing: Cavalero in the Chrysalith, 20 Pathos Clamps (Orowyrm) plus Duviri resources, or 120 Platinum per adapter in the Incarnon market.
  • Priority: one top weapon per category. Wait for community tests before upgrading brand-new adapters.

โ“ FAQ: Warframe Incarnon Genesis Adapters

Where do I farm Incarnon Genesis adapters?

In The Circuit on the Steel Path in Duviri. Each week you pick two adapters (rewards at tier 5 and 10 of the weekly track), and the selection rotates on a nine-week cycle.

What do I need before I can start?

The Duviri Paradox and Angels of the Zariman completed, plus the Steel Path unlocked. Only then do the adapters drop and can Cavalero install them.

How much does installing cost?

At Cavalero in the Chrysalith: 20 Pathos Clamps (from the Orowyrm) plus Duviri resources. Alternatively, buy the weekly adapter for 120 Platinum in the Incarnon market, install resources included.

Which adapters are worth getting first?

One strong weapon per category, for example Torid for primary and Dual Toxocyst for secondary. For melee, the standalone Praedos covers you without an adapter. Upgrade brand-new adapters only after community tests.

As of October 2026, current update 44.1 "The Icebind". Checked against Digital Extremes' Update 43 patch notes and the community-run wiki at wiki.warframe.com (prerequisites, weekly pick of two out of five, 120 Platinum, removal without refund, nine-week rotation on the Circuit page, install costs on the individual adapter pages such as the Bronco: 20 Pathos Clamps, 70 Yao Shrub, 100 Nacreous Pebble).

Values and the rotation can change with any hotfix, so double-check in the game if something looks off. More guides on the Warframe hub.
