Warframe Amir's Shockwave: Every Reward in the Nightwave Season
Warframe Amir's Shockwave is the Nightwave season that started on August 12, 2026 with Update 43.5: instead of Nora Night, Amir from The Hex hosts the Nightwave radio. The season has 30 ranks with rewards from the Globakk Syandana to the Kaneshell Atomicycle Regalia, plus two mods for the EFV weapons.
The KIM adventure “Fables and Frontiers: Running Late” arrived the same day, but it isn't part of Nightwave. What separates the two, which rank gives which reward and what to grab first when time is short is all below.
📻 Warframe Amir's Shockwave: what the season changes
Mechanically, Nightwave is what you already know: you complete daily, weekly and elite weekly Acts, rank up and unlock the season's rewards. Per the patch notes, duplicate rewards turn into Creds, which you spend in the Cred offerings.
What's new is the packaging. Amir takes over as host and pulls the season into the 1999 setting of Höllvania. Per the patch notes, Update 43.5 also added the Surge Eximus, a fast unit that hits with a triple strike of Electricity damage. The patch notes mention it for the KIM adventure Running Late as well. If Eximus enemies give you trouble in general, our Steel Path beginner's guide helps with the basics of survivability and damage.

More valuable for gameplay are the Umbra Forma at rank 28, the Omni Forma at rank 26, the Riven Cipher and the slots. If you're working on your damage ceiling, the Incarnon Genesis adapters are also worth a look.
⚡ “Fables and Frontiers: Running Late” isn't a Nightwave tier
Nightwave and Running Late are two separate pieces of content that just launched on the same day.
- Amir's Shockwave is the Nightwave season: time-limited, progress through Acts and ranks, rewards from the table above.
- Running Late is, per the patch notes, a permanent KIM adventure over six days with one session per day. The next part unlocks after the daily reset at 0:00 UTC.
Requirements per the patch notes: The Hex quest and the Hex finale completed, rank 5 with The Hex as a Syndicate and Chemistry rank 5 with Amir in the KIM system. The Nightwave season, on the other hand, is open to everyone.
Your reward is a poster and the option to replay the adventure. There's also Amir's Fables and Frontiers shop on the second floor of the Höllvania Central Mall. It takes Standing with The Hex and sells glyphs, posters, decorations and Somachord tracks, among other things. How to get Amir to Chemistry rank 5 is in our article on KIM Chemistry with Amir.
📅 Priorities: what to get first
If your playtime is limited, one rule applies: what expires comes first. Nightwave season rewards are gone once the season ends, permanent content isn't.
- Weekly and elite weekly Acts first. They give the most Standing and expire with the weekly reset.
- Push to rank 28. Umbra Forma, Omni Forma and the slots are the most useful rewards.
- Start Running Late as soon as you meet the requirements. Not because it expires, but because the six days run in the background.
- Spend Creds as soon as you have them instead of waiting for clarity on what happens to them after the season.
Tips for reaching rank 30 faster are in our Nightwave rank 30 guide. If you're new, build your foundation in parallel with the best Warframes for beginners.
⚠️ Open question: season end and leftover Creds
Neither the patch notes nor the wiki have given an end date for Amir's Shockwave. There's also no official statement on what happens to unspent Creds after the season ends. If you're sitting on a big Cred balance and don't want to risk it, spend it on things that stay useful.
