Soulframe Bile Sack Farming: Drop Sources and Uses
If you craft a lot in Soulframe, sooner or later you run into the Soulframe Bile Sack. It only drops from the spider-like Weavers, and according to the community wiki you need it for the Poppa Pepo Mask and the Rhiannon's Flame dye palette. This guide shows which enemies drop it, where to find them and how many you need.
🩸 What is a Soulframe Bile Sack?
According to the community-run wiki at wiki.avakot.org, the Bile Sack is an uncommon Creature-type brewing ingredient. The in-game description says it is torn from the carapace of freshly slain Weavers. The wiki lists it next to other creature ingredients such as Eye of Weaver, Rotted Frond and Will-o-frond.

Avakot names only the Weaver line as a source. All three variants belong to the Vadagar and share the same loot table: Bile Sack, Eye of Weaver, the Favour items Baskbulb, Sineculum and Sinners' Stratagem, plus Dracs.

Small Weavers are also summoned by the boss Wazzard of Wastes in the quest “The Waste Bear” and by his Agari, the Wraith of Wastes, in Sidae's Stake. Avakot does not list those summoned spiders as a Bile Sack source, though.
💡 Best Soulframe Bile Sack farming spot
You meet the most Weavers in Neath'uns, the spider dungeon beneath Midrath. Regular Weavers and Grandmother Weavers roam there together, and you pick up Eye of Weaver and Neathcap on the side. If your path leads through the Fuirlands anyway, take out the Mother Weavers in Birdie's Bog and at Creedance High.
Since Weavers also drop Baskbulb, Sineculum and Sinners' Stratagem, a run pays twice: Avakot files those items under Favour, so they count toward enclave reputation.
🕸️ Neath'uns: entrances and side loot
Per Avakot, Neath'uns is a dungeon network beneath the roots of the Voicing Trees. It opens after the Fable “The Waste Bear”. There are four entrances, named by the community after their location:
- Wevetwood: southeast of the Voicing Tree Council in the heart of the Wevetwood
- Sinklands: in the east of the Sinkland Depths
- Lake Moray: south of Moray, on the west side of the lake
- Central Forest: in the woods southeast of Oro's Well
The tunnels hold plenty of Amber Deposits with Glow Lampyrite, Neathcap, Quenching Acid and Sproutfolk Frond. Two Agari wait there as well: Gourdo and Seachnall The Widower. Seachnall is the Agari variant of the Weavers, but Avakot does not list Bile Sacks in its loot.
Eye of Weaver, which Weavers drop alongside the Bile Sack, currently has no use according to Avakot. You can safely ignore it until an update adds a recipe.
🗒️ A quick Bile Sack loop
- Enter Neath'uns through whichever of the four entrances is closest to you.
- Clear every Weaver and Grandmother Weaver in the tunnels and loot the Amber Deposits on the way.
- Back on the surface, swing through Birdie's Bog and Creedance High for the Mother Weavers.
- Repeat until you have the 55 Bile Sacks for both recipes.

According to Avakot two recipes currently require Bile Sacks:

Not right now. Per Avakot, Eye of Weaver currently has no use, even though it drops alongside Bile Sacks.
What should I watch out for with Weavers?
Weavers are poisonous and spin webs that can hang on any surface. The game's description explicitly warns against stepping into a web. Keep away from webs, lure the spiders out and fight in the open. The game describes the Mother Weaver as the mother of many venomous creatures.

Bile Sacks don't lie around everywhere, they only drop from Weavers. Neath'uns is the best place to farm them on purpose, Birdie's Bog the open-world alternative. With 55 you have enough for both known recipes.
