Soulframe Erstroot 2026: Drop Location, Stats and Reforging
The Soulframe Erstroot is an Arcanic staff built for Spirit builds. Since Preludes 15 you no longer collect fragments for it: the staff drops fully built from the Agari Wraith of Wastes at the northern end of Sidae's Stake.
This guide shows where to find the Wraith, how often you can kill it, what stats the Soulframe Erstroot has and what reforging costs. Checked against Preludes 16.
📦 What is the Soulframe Erstroot?
The Erstroot is a Magick weapon of the staff type. It deals Arcanic damage and, according to the community-run wiki at wiki.avakot.org, scales with three pips of Spirit. The Virtue requirement is 16 Spirit. Before the Virtue rework in Preludes 13 it was 10, which is why older guides still list that number.

The stats come from the Avakot wiki. Preludes 15 raised the base damage of the Soulframe Erstroot. Since then it also drops with random Craftwork and can be upgraded further at Tuvalkane.
🩸 Soulframe Erstroot farming: the Wraith of Wastes
The Erstroot is carried by the Wazzard of Wastes, the boss you beat in the quest “The Waste Bear”. Once that quest is done, his Agari variant, the Wraith of Wastes, appears at the northern end of Sidae's Stake. Agari are Soulframe's sub-boss class.
According to Avakot you can defeat the Wraith once every 30 minutes. His loot can include the finished Soulframe Erstroot, pieces of the Wazzard armor set, the Archstorm rune, Feybalt Joineries, Lampyrite and Dracs. The weapon is not a guaranteed drop, so plan for several runs.
The Wraith also drops the Erstroot in the Cogah. There, Avakot says he starts at level 63 and has more than 100 extra Magick armor. Magick weapons are a poor choice against him in that mode.
🛒 Alternative: Wares of Zenith
If you don't want to farm, Avakot lists the Erstroot at the Wares of Zenith for 220 Arcs. Arcs are the game's real-money currency. Players who already owned fragments before Preludes 15 can still craft it at Tuvalkane with the old recipe, according to the wiki. New fragments no longer drop.
⚒️ Reforging at Tuvalkane
You still need the old materials, just in a different place: for reforging with a Feybalt or Gildaur Joinery. According to Avakot the cost is:

⛏️ Materials for reforging the Erstroot
- Corrupt Onyx: drops widely from Ode'n and Sinecure enemies, such as Sinecure Soldiers, Scouts and Knights, Ode'n Wardogs, Baliq, Mendicant Knights and Nimrod.
- Petrified Ichor: from Baliq, Mendicant Knights, Sinecure Knights and Nimrod, from Ode Chests, from the Organs and from fishing when you keep a rare fish.
- Silistyt: per Avakot from the Organs, Baliq, Bisulcam and the Vadagar bosses, plus Ode Chests.
💡 Tip: Baliq, Mendicant Knights and Ode Chests give several of these materials at once. An Ode'n region packed with these enemies covers most of the list in one sweep.

How much Spirit do I need?
16 Spirit. Below that you get no bonus from attunement. The often quoted 10 Spirit dates from before Preludes 13.
Is the Erstroot worth it?
As a 2-Star staff with pure Spirit scaling it is a solid entry into Magick builds. For endgame setups it is more of a stepping stone.
