Soulframe Dendrit Weave Farming: Best Sources for the Pink Cloth

Soulframe Dendrit Weave is one of the materials people keep asking about in chat. You burn through the pinkish cloth constantly for crafting, but early on it is not obvious where it reliably comes from. This guide shows how to farm Dendrit Weave, from containers to recipes, checked against Preludes 16 โ€œOf Hook and Houndโ€.

๐Ÿงต What is Soulframe Dendrit Weave?

According to the community-run wiki at wiki.avakot.org, Dendrit Weave is a common textile material. Its in-game description calls it a double-woven cloth from Dendria's master weavers, dense yet soft, a must for any well-dressed Midrathian. Because of its reddish-pink tint, many players simply call it pink cloth. There is no separate, rarer pink variant. It is one of the base materials you need to restock all the time.

๐Ÿ“ฆ What do you need Dendrit Weave for?

The cloth is a classic consumable. Avakot lists it in these recipes:

  • Armor: for example 40 each for Arbearer's Braes and Armet of Orengall, 30 for Coronal of The Sleeve, 30 for the Regalia of Garren Rood and 15 for each piece of the Pensive set.
  • Talismans and weapons: about 35 each for the talismans Direskull, Orengall's Fang and Synod's Bell Jar, 20 for the bow Thistle.
  • Pacts: the Oscelda pact needs 50, according to the wiki.

The recipes in the wiki add up to more than 1,300 Dendrit Weave. A stockpile pays off almost every time. That's why it makes sense to farm Soulframe Dendrit Weave on the side while you play, instead of hunting for it once you run dry.

๐ŸŽˆ Best Soulframe Dendrit Weave sources

According to Avakot, Dendrit Weave comes from containers all over Midrath. The wiki lists these sources:

SourceNote
๐Ÿ›ข๏ธ Barrels and Basketseverywhere in settlements and camps
๐Ÿ“ฆ Crates and Potsbreakable, often in clusters
๐Ÿ—ƒ๏ธ Basic Chestsin Midrath and the Dermak Undercity
๐ŸŽˆ Skylantern Cratesat the Ode'n Skylanterns
โ›๏ธ Buried Banneret Chestsin Rovgot
๐Ÿ“œ Mini-quest โ€œBurning Sageโ€one-time reward

Older guides name supply balloons and large Ode Chests as the main source. Avakot does not list those containers for Dendrit Weave, so we don't recommend them. Since every source drops the cloth at random, the rule is simple: the more containers you open, the steadier your supply. Farming Dendrit Weave is more about your route than about luck.

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Route: breakable containers

The most reliable method is smashing small containers systematically. Community routes suggest running through Midrath, the Undercity and the Glades and breaking everything in reach. Enemy camps like the ones in the Dermak Undercity and settlements full of barrels and baskets pay off best.

A popular farming spot in community routes is the boss arena of the Crypt of the Circade, where you can smash lots of pots at once. You need a Crypt Key to get in, though. The upside of these routes: they are tied to fixed places, so you can memorize them and clear them on purpose.

๐Ÿ›’ Buying Dendrit Weave from Avakot

If you are only a few short, you don't have to farm. The Sproutfolk vendor Avakot (โ€œAvakot's Gotsโ€) sells Dendrit Weave for 50 Dracs, according to the wiki, but not always. His stock holds five materials and rotates every three hours. You find him at Oro's Well, at Dermak Well, in the hamlet southeast of the College of Pensives and at the entrance to the Dermak Undercity near Hilly-Den. That works for a quick top-up. For larger crafting projects, farming is still faster.

๐Ÿ’ก Farming tips

  • Break everything: barrels, baskets, crates and pots are the main source per the wiki. Hit them on every route.
  • Use Spectral Sight: Spectral Sight (Q) reveals nearby containers and loot so you don't miss a chest.
  • Collect on the side: since the material is only common, you don't need a high-level region.
  • Combine routes: if you need a lot, pair Skylantern Crates and Basic Chests with a container route through Midrath, the Undercity and the Glades.

๐Ÿ—’๏ธ Step by step: a quick farming loop

  1. Activate Spectral Sight (Q) as soon as you enter a new area.
  2. Smash every barrel, basket, crate and pot in settlements and camps.
  3. Open every Basic Chest and Skylantern Crate along the way.
  4. If you are still short, check Avakot. When the cloth is in stock, it costs 50 Dracs.
