- โ Entropic Kuva FAQ
Entropic Kuva is the key to farming Narin for free. Per the Update 44.0.0 patch notes you have three routes to the frame: the Zariman drop tables, Cephalon Melica on Yuvan Peak in exchange for Entropic Kuva, or the Market. Melica is the most reliable free option, because you can buy exactly the part you're missing.
Entropic Kuva drops only from the new Entropic Eximus on the Zariman. This guide shows where to find them, how to kill them quickly, what the blueprints cost and how to pick up the signature weapons Nunchasa and Aksondol along the way.
โ๏ธ Three ways to get Narin
The 44.0.0 patch notes name all three sources for the Warframe. The Entropic Kuva price in the table comes from the community wiki (wiki.warframe.com), though. Digital Extremes doesn't list prices in the patch notes.
| Route | What you get | Effort |
|---|---|---|
| Zariman drop tables | main blueprint and all three components | random, depends on rotation |
| Cephalon Melica | main blueprint and components for Entropic Kuva | predictable, 790 Entropic Kuva per the community wiki |
| Market | Narin ready-made, alone or in the Narin Bundle with both signature weapons | costs Platinum |
You don't have to commit to one route. Running Zariman missions gives you the part drop chances and builds up Entropic Kuva at the same time. If one piece is still missing at the end, you buy just that one from Melica.
๐ง What Entropic Kuva is and what drops it
Entropic Kuva is a new currency and not the same as regular Kuva. The English patch notes describe it as "a dangerous and erratic type of Kuva, acquired solely from Entropic Eximus units in Zariman missions."
Per the patch notes, Entropic Eximus can show up in any Zariman mission, and more often than other Eximus types. A few even appear during the Void Angel fight. Hotfix 44.0.2 clarified that they only spawn on the Zariman "for narrative reasons" and fixed them showing up in The Descendia.
The amount per enemy comes from the community wiki: 3 to 7 Entropic Kuva per Entropic Eximus. According to the wiki, Resource Boosters and Resource Drop Chance Boosters don't affect it. So a booster weekend won't speed things up.
How to kill Entropic Eximus fast
Hotfix 44.0.1 is worth a look here. It states officially that Entropic Eximus take 90% less damage from non-melee sources, and 75% less from Operators. Companions don't target them at all. The 44.0.0 patch notes already suggest walking into their shield bubble and taking them out from inside while they throw destructive orbs around.
If you want to farm Entropic Kuva, that means bringing a strong melee weapon and running at the Eximus instead of shooting the bubble from range. A tanky Warframe helps, since you're walking straight into the orbs. If your builds already hold up on The Steel Path, you won't need to change anything.
๐ Where to farm Entropic Kuva
Per the patch notes, Entropic Eximus spawn in every Zariman mission. You get the most out of it by running the five nodes where Digital Extremes' official drop tables list Narin's parts. Enemy levels there are 50 to 55, according to the community wiki.
| Node | Mission type | Narin part per official drop tables |
|---|---|---|
| Halako Perimeter | Exterminate | main blueprint |
| The Greenway | Mobile Defense | main blueprint |
| Everview Arc | Void Flood | Chassis |
| Tuvul Commons | Void Cascade | Neuroptics |
| Oro Works | Void Armageddon | Systems |
Update 44 also added Melica's Lab. Per the patch notes, it's a previously sealed room with a central machine that can appear as a random tile in Zariman missions. You don't need to hunt for it, though. Entropic Eximus show up throughout the whole mission.
๐ฒ Narin from the Zariman drop tables
The patch notes only say "Acquire Narin's Main and Components from the Zariman Drop Tables." The actual chances are in Digital Extremes' official drop tables (warframe.com/droptables, as of October 7, 2026):
- Main blueprint: Exterminate and Mobile Defense, 8.89% each (about 11 runs on average)
- Chassis: Void Flood, Rotation A 4.23%, B 4.60%, C 8.33%
- Neuroptics: Void Cascade, Rotation A 4.23%, B 4.60%, C 8.33%
- Systems: Void Armageddon, Rotation A 4.23%, B 4.60%, C 8.33%
One change is officially confirmed in Hotfix 44.0.1: Digital Extremes doubled the weighting of Narin's main blueprint in Exterminate and Mobile Defense after community feedback. The 8.89% in the October 7 drop tables is already the raised value. For components, Rotation C has the best odds.
๐ Buying Narin's blueprints from Cephalon Melica
Cephalon Melica is on Yuvan Peak on Earth. Per the patch notes, you need to finish Angels of the Zariman and Whispers in the Walls first, otherwise Yuvan Peak stays closed. At Melica, you trade Entropic Kuva for her Classroom Supplies.
The prices are community figures from the wiki:
| Blueprint | Entropic Kuva |
|---|---|
| Main blueprint | 400 |
| Neuroptics | 130 |
| Chassis | 130 |
| Systems | 130 |
| Total | 790 |
The math: how many Eximus do you need?
At 3 to 7 Entropic Kuva per enemy, the average is 5. For the full 790 you need about 158 Entropic Eximus on average. At a flat 3 it would be 264, at a flat 7 only 113. Every component that drops for you first saves 130 Entropic Kuva, or 26 Eximus. That's why it pays to run the missions for the part you're missing instead of any random Zariman node.
Per the community wiki, the build also needs 25,000 Credits, the three components and an Orokin Cell. Build time is three days, and the Mastery Rank requirement is 0.
๐บ๏ธ A sensible farming order
The confirmed facts add up to a simple route. It's our own recommendation, not something Digital Extremes prescribes.
- Finish the quests: Angels of the Zariman and Whispers in the Walls, so you can reach Melica.
- Farm components: run Void Flood, Void Cascade and Void Armageddon through Rotation C. Every Entropic Eximus along the way tops up your Entropic Kuva.
- Farm the main blueprint: Exterminate or Mobile Defense, where the higher weighting from Hotfix 44.0.1 applies.
- Fill the gaps at Melica: whatever's still missing after a few runs, you buy with the Entropic Kuva you've collected.
That way you never have to grind out all 790 in one go. If the main blueprint drops early, you save 400 right there and can put the rest toward the signature weapons.
๐น Signature weapons Nunchasa and Aksondol
Nunchasa is Narin's signature bow, Aksondol her signature dual pistols. Per the patch notes, both are also sold by Melica for Entropic Kuva, main blueprint and components included. The patch notes don't mention a drop table for the weapons, only the Market.
- Nunchasa: blueprint 200, four components at 50 each, 400 total
- Aksondol: blueprint 200, components 30, 30 and 60, 380 total
These prices also come from the community wiki. If you want the frame and both weapons through Melica, that's 1,570 Entropic Kuva, or roughly 314 Entropic Eximus.
๐ Is the Market worth it?
Per the patch notes, you can buy Narin in the Market on her own or as part of the Narin Bundle, which also includes Nunchasa and Aksondol. The patch notes don't give a Platinum price, so we don't list one. The Market saves you the build time and the farming but costs Platinum. If you only earn Platinum through trading so far, the free route via Melica usually makes more sense.
๐ What you don't need for Narin
You don't need The Icebind for Narin. Before the update, press reports named the six-player mode as her source. The patch notes only list the Zariman, Melica and the Market. The Icebind is mainly there for Riven Splicers. For her abilities and background, see our Warframe Narin guide.
