Dune Awakening Filmic Archive: Full DLC Contents, Price and Release

Short answer: Dune Awakening Filmic Archive is a cosmetic DLC with armor, stillsuits, weapons and a Sardaukar building set based on the films Dune: Part One and Part Two. It has been available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox since September 22, 2026, and Funcom lists it at $9.99 or the regional equivalent.

The pack has 15 entries, including 73 building pieces and 17 decorations for a Sardaukar fortress. It isn't part of the Season Pass and doesn't change any stats. Below is the full list with the names Funcom uses in the patch notes.

📦 Everything in Filmic Archive

The names come from Funcom's patch notes for Update 1.5 from September 17, 2026. The film references are Funcom's own descriptions.

Added up, that's eight wearable outfits (five armor sets, two stillsuits, one coat), two weapons, 90 building and decoration objects, two emotes and one swatch. The Sardaukar building set is by far the biggest part. If you mostly want clothes, you get the five film outfits plus three Sardaukar pieces.

💡 Naming quirks to know

Funcom isn't consistent with Paul's outfit. The gamescom announcement from August 26 calls it "Aegis of the Unwalked Path", the Update 1.5 patch notes say "Aegis of an Unwalked Path". It's the same item. If a search for one name comes up empty, try the other.

The two least obvious names in the pack are the Longhaul Stillsuit, which is Gurney's suit, and the Sardaukar Velites Armor. The name borrows from the velites, the lightly armed skirmishers of the Roman army.

🛒 Price and release date of Dune Awakening Filmic Archive

Funcom lists Filmic Archive at $9.99 or the regional equivalent. Console stores can use their own price tiers, so check the store on your platform before you buy.

The release date was the same on all three platforms. On Steam, the store page requires the Steam version of the base game. On PS5 and Xbox, the launch lined up with the regular console release on September 22; Deluxe and Ultimate Edition buyers had been playing in Early Access since September 17.

⚠️ Not in the Season Pass, and not in Deluxe or Ultimate

This is the key point for owners of the bigger editions. The Season Pass in Deluxe and Ultimate lists Wildlife of Arrakis, The Lost Harvest, Raiders of the Broken Lands and The Water Wars by name. Filmic Archive appears in none of those lists, and Funcom sells it at its own price.

There's no overlap in content either. The Deluxe Edition includes the Sardaukar Bator armor; the Ultimate Edition adds, among other things, Paul Atreides' stillsuit from the 2021 film and a Caladan Palace building set. ⚒️ Looks only: no combat advantage

The patch notes call Filmic Archive a "paid cosmetic DLC". No stats are published for any of the armor or weapons. You're buying a look, not better gear. For progression, what counts is still the equipment you craft or find yourself.

For combat, the real Update 1.5 changes matter more than any skin. The parry window for swords, daggers and dual blades went up from 0.25 to 0.33 seconds, and a successful parry gives back 10 stamina. 🏰 Who the Sardaukar building set is for

With 73 building pieces, the set is big enough for a whole fortress, not just a few accents. It's mainly interesting if you sink a lot of time into your base, for example in single player mode, where the Deep Desert never resets and your buildings aren't wiped. Funcom has since tweaked the set with Hotfix 1.5.3.5 from September 30, 2026. It added mirrored versions of asymmetrical Sardaukar building pieces (the patch notes say eleven pieces, Communinet Signal #21 from October 1, 2026 says seven) and the missing Corner Column piece. Filmic Archive armor customizations can also be applied more widely now, with some limits for stillsuits.

Whether Filmic Archive also works in single player mode isn't mentioned separately. The patch notes cover the DLC across platforms without restricting it to a game mode, but there's no explicit confirmation. How the mode works is explained in our single player guide.

🔧 DLC not showing up? What Update 1.5 fixed

One bug from older versions hit paid content directly: if a single request to Steam failed, purchased DLCs weren't available to that player. According to the patch notes, version 1.5.3.0 fixed exactly that. On PlayStation, Hotfix 1.5.3.4 from September 24, 2026 also fixed DLCs being unavailable through PlayStation Family Sharing. If something you bought is missing, first make sure your game is up to date.

Also new in 1.5: on Steam, Dune Awakening no longer launches through the Funcom Launcher, so that extra step is gone. Funcom also fixed a hair bug on the Sardaukar Bator armor from the Deluxe Edition, where the ponytail swung around restlessly.
