Fallout 76 SCORE Farming in Season 26: Ranks, Tickets and the Fastest Points

Fallout 76 SCORE Farming in Season 26: Ranks, Tickets and the Fastest Points

Fallout 76 SCORE farming to rank 100 takes exactly 220,275 points, and the game caps you at 2,500 points per day from dailies. That sounds like a brutal grind, but it isn't: with daily and weekly challenges together you're done in about eight weeks. What matters isn't how long you play in one sitting, but whether you skip days and weeklies.

Season 26, โ€œBeware the Blood Moon,โ€ has been running since September 15, 2026. This guide breaks down the rank curve, the point sources and the tickets, and works out what a skipped day really costs. Dates, update content and Bethesda's confirmed rewards are in our Fallout 76 Season 26 overview.

๐Ÿ“ˆ How the Game Calculates Your Ranks

S.C.O.R.E. is the season progression currency. Every rank costs more than the one before: going from rank 1 to rank 2 takes 1,000 points, and every further rank adds 25. The final step to rank 100 costs 3,450 points.

RankPoints for this rankTotal so far
21,0001,000
101,2009,900
251,57530,900
502,20078,400
752,825141,525
1003,450220,275

On average a rank costs 2,225 points. Each rank pays out 25 tickets, so 2,475 tickets by rank 100, which you spend freely on the season pages. The fixed scoreboard has been gone since Season 16. Important: tickets expire at the end of the season and don't carry over.

Ranks continue past 100, but differently. The cost freezes at 3,500 points per rank, and only daily and weekly challenges count. Buying ranks with Atoms is disabled once you hit rank 100.

โš’๏ธ Where the Points Come From

There are exactly four sources. Three are capped, one isn't:

SourceCountPoints eachTotal
Daily challenges62501,500 per day
Daily Gold Star (all 6 dailies done)11,0001,000 per day
Weekly challenges91,0009,000 per week
Weekly Gold Star (3 daily Gold Stars in a week)11,5001,500 per week
XP repeatableunlimited100 per 10,000 XPno cap

That's 2,500 points a day plus 10,500 a week. Fallout 1st adds a seventh daily worth 250 points, plus cumulative S.C.O.R.E. boosts that reach 25% and more over the season and stack with the S.C.O.R.E. Booster. The Booster itself raises your earnings by 25% for 24 hours.

โฑ๏ธ The Honest Math: How Long Rank 100 Takes

You won't find these numbers in any reward list, because they only come from doing the math. The base is 220,275 points to rank 100:

Play stylePoints per weekDays to rank 100
All dailies and weeklies28,00056
Only dailies including Gold Star17,50089
Everything, but no Gold Star19,50080
Only weeklies (no weekly Gold Star, which needs three daily Gold Stars)9,000172

The key insight is in row two. According to the countdown on the community site Nuka Knights, Season 26 is set for 77 days. We haven't found an official end date from Bethesda. In 77 days, the daily cap alone brings 192,500 points, less than the 220,275 for rank 100. Dailies only lands you at rank 91 on paper. You still don't need marathon sessions: dailies plus weeklies are plenty, as long as you don't skip a whole week.

Take your time without wasting anything and you're through after eight weeks. The rest of the season belongs to the tickets beyond rank 100.

๐Ÿฉธ The Most Expensive Mistake Is the Gold Star

Doing five of six dailies and leaving the sixth feels harmless. But it costs you the 1,000-point Gold Star, and with it 40% of your entire daily haul. Over a 77-day season that adds up to 77,000 points or about 35 ranks, not even counting the weekly Gold Star, which needs three daily Gold Stars.

The comparison table shows the same effect from the other side: without the Gold Star you need 80 days instead of 56. Three extra weeks for a task that's usually almost done anyway.

The second trap is the XP repeatable. It's the only uncapped source and gets recommended as a shortcut for that reason. Do the math: 100 points per 10,000 XP means 222,500 XP for an average rank and over 22 million XP for rank 100. It's a bonus for players who grind events anyway, not a strategy for Fallout 76 SCORE farming.

๐Ÿš€ Fallout 76 SCORE Farming: The Most Efficient Order

If you want Fallout 76 SCORE farming without burning time, work from the top down:

  • Read the weeklies first, then head out. The nine weeklies are worth 1,000 points each and almost always ask for events, Expeditions or Daily Ops. Know them and you'll finish three in the same event run.
  • Stack public events. One event often covers several dailies at once: kill enemies, spend ammo, loot. In October, Mischief Night fits well, running October 6 to 20, 2026, according to the Nuka Knights calendar. Nuka Knights lists Mothman Equinox as cancelled for 2026.
  • Finish the leftovers at your C.A.M.P. Build, cook, drink water, scrap items: you clear those dailies at home with no travel time.
  • Always take the Gold Star. The sixth daily is never as much work as the 1,000 points are worth.
  • Only plan the raid if it's on your list anyway. Fallout 76 has exactly one raid, Gleaming Depths. It pays good loot but no special S.C.O.R.E. portion. Details are in our Gleaming Depths raid guide.

A good build saves more time than any trick: if you drop enemies fast, combat challenges tick off on the side. Current picks are in our Fallout 76 best builds guide.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Daily Reset at Noon Eastern Time

Dailies switch at noon Eastern Time, per community calendars. That's 16:00 UTC during US daylight saving time and 17:00 UTC in winter.

In practice: if you play late, one calendar day can give you two sets of challenges, one before the reset and one after. At the end of the season that's the difference between two and three final rounds.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Where to Spend Your 2,475 Tickets

Tickets can be spent freely, and that's exactly the trap. Cosmetics look nice, but the consumables on the season pages are worth real money in Appalachia. Past seasons regularly had Legendary Modules, Perk Coins and Gold Bullion on them.

The priority comes from the game's limits. Gold Bullion only comes from Treasury Notes at up to 400 per day, and your character can hold at most 10,000. Every bar from the season saves real farming time. How to top up outside the season is in our Fallout 76 gold bullion farming guide.

Legendary Modules are the second item that always pays off, because they're the bottleneck for building legendary gear. Everything about getting them is in our Fallout 76 Legendary Modules guide.

Since September 15 a Legacy Season runs alongside and draws from the same ticket pool. How to prioritize between both boards is in our Fallout 76 Legacy Seasons guide.

โš ๏ธ What's Official About These Numbers and What Isn't

To be upfront: the concrete point values don't come from a Bethesda publication but from the community-run Fallout wikis. Official are the September 15, 2026 start date, the season name and the season number. Bethesda's own Steam news post from September 1, 2026, literally says โ€œSeason 26: Beware the Blood Moon.โ€

Keep two things in mind. First, the big wikis differ: the actively maintained fallout.wiki lists 2,500 points per day and 10,500 per week, while the older Fandom wiki still has 2,250 and 10,000. The lower values date from before the Gold Star system.

Second, Bethesda doesn't give Fallout 76 consecutive patch numbers, it uses version numbers like 1.7.26.13 for The Slasher. Counts like โ€œPatch 70โ€ come from the fan site Nuka Knights and aren't an official name. The native console upgrade on the same day is covered in our Fallout 76 next-gen update guide.

โ“ FAQ: Fallout 76 SCORE Farming

How many points do I need for rank 100?

220,275 S.C.O.R.E. in total. Rank 2 costs 1,000 points, every further rank 25 more, so the last step to rank 100 costs 3,450. On average it's 2,225 points per rank.

Can I do Fallout 76 SCORE farming without playing every day?

Not in a useful way. The 2,500-point daily cap expires unused, and weeklies alone only get you to rank 100 in about 172 days, more than twice as long as Season 26 lasts per the community countdown. If you have to skip days, weeklies only partly make up for it.

How many tickets does each rank give?

25 tickets per rank, so 2,475 by rank 100. You keep getting tickets after rank 100, and the cost per rank stays at 3,500 points. Unspent tickets expire at the end of the season.

Is the XP repeatable worth it for points?

Only as a side effect. 100 points per 10,000 XP means 222,500 XP for a single average rank. It's no standalone strategy, but a welcome bonus while grinding events.

When do the dailies change?

At noon Eastern Time, per community calendars.

Does Fallout 1st give more points?

Yes. The subscription unlocks a seventh daily worth 250 points and grants cumulative S.C.O.R.E. boosts over the season that reach 25% and more and stack with the S.C.O.R.E. Booster. You don't need it for rank 100, though.

As of October 2026. Checked against Bethesda's official newsroom on fallout.bethesda.net, specifically โ€œThe Slasher Cuts In on September 15โ€ from August 18, 2026, and Bethesda's official Steam news post from September 1, 2026, which names the season number.

Community data, not confirmed by Bethesda: all point values, rank costs, ticket amounts and Fallout 1st bonuses. They come from the community-run fallout.wiki and were cross-checked against the older Fandom wiki, which differs in two places.

Also unconfirmed: the 77-day season length (countdown on nukaknights.com, no official end date), the cancellation of Mothman Equinox 2026 (Nuka Knights event archive) and any consecutive patch number like โ€œPatch 70.โ€ Reset times are based on community calendars, not a Bethesda statement. Once Bethesda shows the season pages officially, this article gets updated.
