Warframe Citrine Prime: Free Through Void Relics or Prime Access

Warframe Citrine Prime can be yours in two ways: for free through Void Relics that you crack in Void Fissure missions, or instantly through a paid Prime Access pack. She has been in the game since Update 44 "Iceblade of Narin" on September 23, 2026, together with her two signature weapons.

This guide sorts out what is officially confirmed, how the relic route works and which relics hold the parts. It also covers the regular version as an alternative, because its farming route has been known for years and is listed in the official drop tables.

โœ… Warframe Citrine Prime: What Is Officially Confirmed

The English announcement on warframe.com carried the subtitle "Wake up flawless on September 23." The Devstream overview says: "Resplendent, crystalline, and deadly, Citrine Prime arrives with the Steflos Prime and Corufell Prime to bolster your Arsenal." For everyone who doesn't want to spend money, another line of the announcement matters most: you can earn the Warframe and her weapons in-game by cracking open Void Relics.

Digital Extremes lists the following contents for the program. The right-hand column shows what you can also earn without buying anything.

ItemTypeEarnable through Void Relics?

Steflos (Prime version)Shotgun (primary weapon)yes
Corufell (Prime version)Melee weaponyes

All accessories carry the word "Prime" in their names in the pack; for clarity it is left out of the table. The official FAQ for the program on warframe.com states that they are reserved for buyers: gear parts are found in relics, the exclusive accessories come only in the packs. According to the announcement, Weapons, Prime, Complete and Accessories Packs are offered, varying by platform.

๐Ÿ’Ž Who Is Citrine? Role and Abilities

According to the official overview, she is a support frame with a crystal theme. She came into the game with Update 32.3 "Citrine's Last Wish".

KeyAbilityEffect
1Fractured Blastknocks enemies down, Slash through crystal blades, affected enemies drop more health and energy orbs
2Preserving Shellcrystalline barrier for you and your allies that slowly decays and grows through kills and assists
3Prismatic Gema gem that attacks enemies with beams that you hit with your weapons; Heat, Cold, Toxin and Electricity status
4Crystallizecrystal fractals paralyze enemies, the crystal growth takes critical damage

The official site lists the regular version's base stats as 400 health, 270 shields, 265 armor and 130 energy. For the Prime version, the community wiki lists 400 health, 270 shields, 325 armor and 150 energy at rank 0 (500 health, 370 shields and 200 energy at rank 30), plus a Naramon aura slot and Vazarin, Madurai and Naramon polarities.

By the way: the "Prismatic Gem" decoration from the pack has the same name as her third ability. If you're searching in the Arsenal or among your decorations, don't mix the two up.

โ˜ข๏ธ Citrine Prime for Free: the Void Relic Route

The official FAQ describes the free route in four steps. It applies to every set of this kind, including this one:

  • Get Void Relics: through missions, Syndicates or trading with other players.
  • Run Void Fissure missions: equip a relic and collect ten Reactant, then it is cracked open.
  • Craft the parts: build the blueprints you won in the Foundry.
  • Assemble: combine Neuroptics, Chassis and Systems into the finished Warframe.

Since the update, the relics are known. The community wiki lists these drop locations; the set is spread across all four relic tiers:

PartRelicRarity
Citrine Prime BlueprintMeso C11Rare
Citrine Prime NeuropticsAxi C12Rare
Citrine Prime ChassisNeo C11Common
Citrine Prime SystemsLith S19Uncommon
Steflos Prime BlueprintNeo Y2Uncommon

Steflos Prime StockMeso D9Uncommon
Corufell Prime BlueprintMeso V17Common
Corufell Prime HandleAxi C12Uncommon
Corufell Prime ReceiverNeo C10Rare

The Warframe's main blueprint and Neuroptics, the Steflos Prime Barrel and the Corufell Prime Receiver are rare drops and will be your bottleneck. Axi C12 holds both the Neuroptics and the Corufell Prime Handle, which makes it the most useful single relic of the set.

๐Ÿ” Double-Checking the Relics

Digital Extremes' official drop tables at warframe.com/droptables showed October 7, 2026 as their last update when we checked on October 8. They're the official source for mission drops, but in the past they weren't always refreshed at the same time as an update.

It's faster in the game itself. Every relic shows its six possible rewards in the preview, and the Codex lists items with their sources. Check the preview before you refine a relic, so you don't waste Void Traces on the wrong one. For finding squadmates, the recruiting chat names the relics anyway.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Trade Instead of Farm: Parts for Platinum

Unlike the regular version's blueprints, the new parts are tradeable. That opens up two strategies. If you want to finish faster, buy individual missing parts from other players for Platinum. If you already own the set, sell duplicate parts while demand is at its peak shortly after launch.

Trade duplicate parts with little trading value for Ducats at the Ducat Kiosk. We deliberately don't quote prices, because they change by the hour in the first days.

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Alternative: Farm the Regular Citrine

If you want to test the abilities right away, farm the regular version. According to the Update 32.3 notes, her blueprints come from the rotation rewards of the Tyana Pass node on Mars. That node runs the Mirror Defense game mode, in which you defend Belric's and Rania's crystals against Grineer and Corpus.

BlueprintSourceChance per official drop tables
Main blueprintMars, Tyana Pass, Rotation C9.30%
NeuropticsMars, Tyana Pass, Rotation C6.10%
ChassisMars, Tyana Pass, Rotation C6.10%
SystemsMars, Tyana Pass, Rotation C6.10%

Alternatively, trade with Otak in the Necralisk on Deimos. The update notes name two new resources for this, Belric Crystal Fragment and Rania Crystal Fragment, and require the completed quest "Heart of Deimos". According to the same notes, Steflos and Corufell come from the same source.

The regular version counts toward Mastery Rank separately from the new one. So both give you their own Mastery points. Once your new frame is built and ranked, our Steel Path beginner's guide shows where to take her next, and for Steflos Prime and Corufell Prime our guide to Galvanized Mods covers the shotgun and melee cards.

๐Ÿ’ก Is the Pack or the Relic Route Worth It?

For most players, the relic route is enough. The Warframe and weapons are fully earnable; only the accessories aren't. If you run Void Fissures regularly anyway, you'll usually have the set together after a few evenings with a squad.

The pack mainly saves time and gives you the exclusive accessories. It's more worthwhile for players who were going to buy Platinum anyway. According to the FAQ, earlier gear from the program also returns periodically through Prime Resurgence, so the pressure to buy right away is lower than it seems.

Alongside the same update, a login reward runs with a free Banshee, and Narin arrives as the new ice-themed Warframe.

According to the community wiki: Meso C11, Axi C12, Neo C11 and Lith S19 for the Warframe, Neo Y2, Axi S21, Lith A13 and Meso D9 for Steflos Prime, and Meso V17, Axi C12, Neo C10 and Lith C15 for Corufell Prime. Check the relic preview in the game to confirm.

Which weapons belong to the set?
Steflos Prime, a shotgun, and Corufell Prime, a melee weapon. According to the announcement, both are earnable through Void Relics and are also part of the paid packs.

Do I need the regular version for the new one?

Checked against official Digital Extremes sources: the Prime Access announcement and the Devstream overview on warframe.com, the program FAQ, the official Citrine overview, the Update 32.3 notes and the official drop tables. Relic locations and Prime stats come from the community-run WARFRAME Wiki. As of: October 8, 2026.
